What is the goal of the free onboarding service?

Our goal is to get you started with AvaiBook as soon as possible and always with the highest guarantees of success.

What does our onboarding service include?

It depends on the number of accommodations you have contracted:
With 3 or fewer accommodations, a 60-90 minute session will be conducted remotely. It is required to have the listings published on Airbnb; otherwise, 2 sessions of 45 minutes will be held.
For 4 to 9 accommodations, 3 sessions of 50 minutes each will be conducted.
With 10 or more accommodations, 4 sessions of 50 minutes each will be conducted.

How do we ensure the onboarding process is a success?

We assign a specialized onboarding agent who will help and guide you through the import and setup of your accommodations, as well as the connection with the main OTAs: Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, Google, Rentalia, HomeToGo.
We focus on short, very practical sessions, directly explaining the important aspects so you can manage your bookings and helping you get your accommodations configured and connected as quickly as possible.
Follow-up through our chat to resolve any minor questions during this process.
Your collaboration is essential to achieve the goal; no one knows your accommodations better than you, and it will be crucial that you invest time in reviewing them (content, rates, and availability) after importing your listings.

Why do we offer a free onboarding service?

To help you get your accommodations up and running. We know you need to start working as soon as possible, but you’ve just arrived, and learning AvaiBook takes time.
Over the more than 14 years we've been in the market, we've seen that both the most experienced managers and the less experienced ones need help and guidance during the setup. That's why we offer a free onboarding service, with sessions focused on the essentials to help achieve our goal and provide a better experience with AvaiBook.

What does the onboarding service consist of?

Our onboarding process consists of 3 phases:

  1. Importing your listings. Through Airbnb, we will download all the information about your accommodations (photos, descriptions, services, etc.). From this point on, your collaboration will be necessary for the next sessions to be more effective. If you don't work with Airbnb, we will explain how you can configure your accommodations.
  2. Connecting with the main OTAs: Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, Google, HomeToGo, Rentalia, Expedia. And setting up online payments for each channel.
  3. Configuring the booking engine in AvaiBook (integration into your website is not included). And setting up online payments.

Please note that each of these phases will not necessarily be completed in the same session; this will mainly depend on the information we can download from Airbnb and the work you do in supervising your listings.
Additionally, if you complete all the phases and haven't used some of the onboarding sessions included in your plan, we will take the opportunity to teach you more about tools that are key for you (online check-in, invoices, users, Revenue Management, etc.).
However, all sessions included in the free onboarding service must be completed within the first 30 days, according to your contract date. If you can't meet this deadline, don't worry; talk to your sales representative to agree on other conditions.

How long does the onboarding process take?

The average time to have your accommodations configured and connected to the main portals can range from 1 to 30 days. Everything will depend on the specific needs of your business.
Additionally, some portals have an activation process that requires actions from all parties (AvaiBook, manager, and portal), which can extend the onboarding process for several more weeks.

When will I have my first onboarding session?

Within 1 to 3 business days, although during high season or holidays, this time may vary.
Before receiving your first onboarding session, a specialized onboarding agent will contact you on the same day or the day after your contract to schedule your first appointment.

What is my role as a manager during the onboarding?

To achieve the onboarding goals, it is recommended that you, as a manager, get involved in learning AvaiBook and invest time in reviewing and configuring your accommodations (content, availability, and rates).

Is it mandatory to complete the onboarding?

It is mandatory if you work with another Channel Manager, as we need to migrate your listings.
It is also mandatory to complete the first connections with the OTAs with the onboarding agent.
We only recommend that you autonomously download and review your listings.

Can I cancel an onboarding session?

Yes, you can do so at any time without penalties, but keep in mind that you will need to reschedule for another day, and depending on the volume of sessions, you may have to wait between 3 and 7 business days.

What happens when the free onboarding service ends?

Most customers are ready to start receiving and managing bookings once the onboarding is complete.
We offer a chat service where you can leave all your questions so our team can prioritize the most urgent and important issues.
Our responses are always via chat, calls, or videos.

We conduct free weekly training sessions with an AvaiBook specialist, where we will teach a feature or tool and address questions or doubts live.

What is not included in the free onboarding service?

We do not provide consulting services, such as: price review and recommendation, text optimization, legal advice. In short, any aspect not related to the setup of your accommodations in AvaiBook.
To help you with these topics, we have tools like Dynamic Pricing or Market Data that will assist you in your pricing strategy. We also hold webinars with experts in various fields, both legal and other services specialized in the tourism sector.

Onboarding is not a training; for that, we have over 60 tutorial videos and 350 articles in our help center, which will make adapting to our software much more satisfying.
Additionally, we regularly publish content on our blog and YouTube channel, where you will find over 200 articles and 300 videos, respectively. Also, in our weekly newsletter, we will share news and tips to keep you always updated.
